Create a new document using the word processing application of your choice. Be sure that your file is being saved in your new Portfolio folder on your desktop in a folder named 'Word Pro 1".
Imagine you were to hand out a single page to a visitor to our new school. What would this page look like? What information would you include?
Using the information on the main page of our school website (www.revelstokesecondary.ca), create a word document that presents this information in a thoughtful and attractive way. Your document should be a single page only, so be selective about the information that you choose to present.
Do not use a template for this assignment. You must start on a blank page.

- Use "Paste Special" - (and then paste 'unformatted text') rather than just 'paste' when working
- Formatting
- Font Size and Type
- Formatting Choices

- Text Colour
- Alignment tools
- left justify
- centre
- and right justify
- Indent
- Bullets and Numbering
- Insert Graphics
- Use selections from the "Wrapping" menu in the Formatting panel to define the relationship between the image and the text.
- If you place an image behind the text, be sure to use your transparency options to get the appropriate look for your project.
